Relive is a Netherlands-based startup that allows outdoor sports enthusiasts to turn their experiences into videos and share them with friends. However, the shared videos page has not received enough engagement. In this project, I addressed this issue.
β’ Most of the traffic on this page is on mobile devices β β’ Visitors on the video page: Have never heard of Relive and have limited context on what page they've landed on (they've just clicked on a link that was shared with them or that they saw on social media) β β’ Have never seen a Relive video before (or a 3D video that captures your outdoor memories)Are most likely only going to watch the video and then bounce
β’ Have no idea how big the Relive community is (20M users worldwide doing all sorts of outdoor activities and using Relive to create their outdoor memories)
I conducted a benchmark to understand not only the visuals of Relive's competitors and other platforms in the industry but also their strategies. As a result, I worked on several alternative ideas.
Design π¨
I quickly visualized the ideas using paper sketches and organized the information hierarchy for the key messages that needed to be conveyed. To indicate the flows, I created wireframes on paper.
Design Component
UI Design & Page Component
With the page components, I first designed the components I needed. I use the atomic design principle when creating component designs. Later, I completed the final page UI designs and enhancements.
